The package turned out to be an unexpected family photo with an Austin postmark, responders told Daily Voice.

The homeowner became concerned because of a series of recent package explosions in the Texas city in which two people were killed and a 75-year-old woman seriously injured.

Two occurred within hours of one another on Monday. The other was on March 2. Authorities in Texas believe all three were connected.

Following Monday's call 8 p.m. in Washington Township, the Bergen County Sheriff's Bomb Squad used a remote device to examine the package and found it harmless.

Responders to the Yorktowne Court townhouse off Cambridge Drive also included local police, firefighters and EMS workers.
